help removing ads!!! PLEASE HELP?

long story short i tried to download the slenderman game from online and it changed my search engine to Babylon. I seemed to get rid of Babylon program and the toolbar but there are still annoying ads in the middle of any websites I go to. example every few posts on Facebook there is and ad the same with tumblr. Please help!! Ive tried system restore as well but it doesn't work. Also I use google chrome

chrome: settings>search>manage search engines.> choose the defautlt you want.
Then go and delete the one you hate. start > typein add remove.. select: add remove programs. find it , delete it.

You have whats known as adware on your computer, its a type of malware that injects adverts into web pages that you view. The form this malware takes is usually browser addons / extensions or toolbars.
