Sites are posting to my timeline through facebook. Anyone know how to remove that?

Sites are posting to my timeline through facebook. Anyone know how to remove that?
My wife asked me why I would like a Yahoo woman's site and I didnt know what she was talking about. Shw showed me her timeline and it said that I liked "yahoo shine; a women's page" I cannot find anything about this site on my facebook page. Anyone know where to look and remove this?

Sites post in your facebook profile because you like their sites through facebook. And when you like sites they keep on sending. There are 2 ways
1. Unlike the sites which you liked through FB
2. a) Go to the small arrow button next to Home button
b) Go to Notification Settings
c) Click - 'All Notifications'
d) Disable 'posts in your wall' option
