Why does my ex girlfriend add (Facebook) my friend (Girl) out of know where?

My ex girlfriend that ended and now in different state for school for now. She add my friend out of know where. There not even friends or seen each other. They know each other cause the girl kept talking to me as a friend. I guess my ex girlfriend got mad and stuff. So now my girl friend added her. This is what they said

Friend: Who is this?
Ex girlfriend: I'm ......ex girlfriend.
Friend: Oh I see, awh.
Ex girlfriend: I wanted to ask you something?
Friend: Sure
Ex girlfriend: Is it okay if I was your friend even your my ex bf friend?
My friend didn't reply cause she had to go work. So its a wait for now.

What you guys think? My ex girlfriend now contacted 4 including the girl she didn't even talk talk or try to. Not even being friends with her while we were going out. She just kept talking to her on my Facebook.Well not a lot anyway. Just on and off. She asked twice about me talk to 1 of my best friend (Guy) and now this friend (Girl) that she is just friends with me now. HELP! Remember she is in different state for school, coming back to visit then go back to school, asked about me twice, add a friend of mine that she doesn't even talk to at all, she called it, got everything she wanted before going to school and yeah. My ex and I aren't talking right now. So yeahh.. Is she playing games and why? Is she still into me? Even she told on text she been kissing other guys but won't tell me on phone or won't anything to tell me in person.
As of right now we are in a different state and all. The only she can do is look at my Facebook. Nothing is new or no new girls or anything
