What do you do with your other half's friends on facebook?

Only one of my girlfriend's friends have added me on facebook but it was before we were official and I think my girlfriend made an issue out of it with the friend that added me. Now we are a few months down the line and none of her other friends have added me on facebook. I've met them a few times and they've told me and her that they approve and like me.

What would you do in this instance? I would send them friend requests but she has a large group of close friends so I don't want to go through and add them all at once, it will look strange. What did you do with your other half's friends on facebook?

ask her because it sounds like last time she was upset. I only add my bf's friends if I really know them.
