Give up, surrender to the Good lord as the best. Humor? Be a clown?

That used to be. I used to be insecure like that. But at the end of the day, thing of the long run. It's the people who care about you that matter, and the people that matter won't care. The things people say may or may not be true, but it really doesn't matter. Building confidence isn't easy, it takes time and a lot of socialization to get over being shy and just event more confident (if you're not shy like I used to be). I used to be worried about what other people thought, cared about every little thing but at the end of the day, especially after I Started going to college, I realized it doesn't matter. The answers you find here (including my own) won't help you with your problem. It's reassurance however that these are things you don't need to be worried about. The people who comment bad aren't perfect themselves, so it really shouldn't matter what they think. Scew that mothalova. haha Just stop worrying, have fun and enjoy senior year.

I used to feel just like that. I still do some days. Something I try to do is always stay in the present and keep reminding myself that nobody has said anything negative about me. There's no point focusing on what might happen. If somebody does have something bad to say about me one day, I'll deal with it then.

Also, this may seem mean, but try and find flaws in confident people. You'll find some - everybody has them. And are people mean to them about those flaws? Do you judge them or think badly of them because of those flaws? Have you even noticed them before? No? Then it's most likely that nobody notices anything bad about you either.

If you think your pictures look good then don't worry about what anybody else thinks. Notice when your being self-conscious and tell yourself that you're being silly. Hopefully it will help you to realise that you're fine just the way you are.

Focus on the compliments and not the negative comments. If you think that you look good don't worry about what someone might think. People aren't judging you as much as you think that they are.

When someone is looking at you it's not always a bad thing.

This person may..
*think you're attractive.
*like what you're wearing.
*want to ask you out.
*think you look familiar.
*wonder who you are or what your name is.
