Unfriending on Facebook?

I unfriended an old friend on facebook because she was posting so much, I was getting sick of seeing her stuff (pictures from every trip she has taken from 10 years ago, questions about when she will meet 'prince charming', massive posts about everytime she works out or loses a few pounds. I basically just needed a break. Within two hours she emailed me asking why I unfriended her. How would she have known that I unfriended her?

The best thing you might want to do is unfirend and block the person! It makes more sense because the moment you deleted her you don't want to have any contact between you and the other person on the other end. Or if you subscribed to her you should unsubscribe so you won't get any related notification after you have deleted her
