Why would my facebook account be under investigation?
When I try to log in it tells me my account is frozen pending investigation. My friends can see my name but nothing happens when they click on it. I've never bullied anyone, posted inapropriate pics, added or requested a bunch of friends at once, or any of the other things listed in the facebook terms of service agreement. The only thing I can think is I "shared" too many pages or links but I've not found anything saying I can't.

What might have happened is that someone probably hacked into your account and messed things up. Or you violated one of their policies. You can check online to see 'why would an account be frozen' for another answer.

It just might be a virus.. but also some one could have sent you something in you inbox and then reported it. I know cause that happens to me and I had to close my account and open a new one. I had no idea what was happening tell face book emailed me.. good luck.

Did you give your password to someone. They might have used it for something inappropriate.

You have definitely done something that Facebook found spamy. My guess is "The only thing I can think is I "shared" too many pages or links..." is bugging Facebook. Your friends can still see you page because Facebook didn't delete it yet and getting their investigation done. You have to wait until they are done with their investigation.
