Breaking up over twitter dm msg?

what are your thoughts about me breaking up with my gf of 4 months via twitter because the thing is its kinda tearing me up inside and im losing sleep and not eating right cus things are so sour cus she wont even speak to me...And i wont see her till the weekend an her family and friends will be there limiting our talkin time ( also my parents and sister will be there too)
oh btw we got together over txt msg as well
