I feel so sorry and guilty for wasting most of the summer vacation on facebook.
Everytime I decide to delete my account I also feel guilty because I'll be disconnected from my friends
The problem is that most of my friends on facebook I do not see them in real life
What should I do?

I don't know why you feel guilty, I did the same thing for the past 3 years but I also try to balance it out by getting out of the house one or two days a week.

Anyhow, I feel no guilt.

First of all, don't feel sorry, summer is here every year, it's not going anywhere. I've spent some amazing summers, and other bpring summers, and i still have, hopefully, 60 to 70 summers!! Each summer has its special story. If you feel you waste too much time on facebook, then don't. If you want to talk to your friends whom you don't see, tell them you'll be online from this hour, to that hour, give them like 1 hour and the half. Check facebook from time to times, but not always... I dunno how you can spend your time on it anw... When there are no notifications, it's boring, and checking a notification takes 2 minutes... Ok here's what you do: Do you have a blackberry, iphone, any cellphone you can put facebook and whatsapp on? If you do, then use it, and get mobile internet, so that wherever you are, you are still connected to your friends. That's what I do: I have friends all over the world, and some that I love, and I talk to them everyday, wherever I am. Communication has become so much easier, just don't limit yourself to facebook... I am in contact with any of my friend, at any time, through whatsapp, and facebook on my iphone. Just do the same!! This way, you can spend time with your friends in real life. I'm sure your other friends have stuff to do to during the summer! you should think about developping yourself, having fun, going to see places and stuff... So, do that, use mobile internet on your phone to stay connected to your friends who you don't see in real life. Now for the summer, it's never too late: Do whatever you can still do before it gets too cold. It doesn't mean winter can't be fun!! There are many amazing things you can do in winter like ski and snowboarding, like ice skating, shopping, coffee with friends, dinner, cinema, DVDs, party, etc... Plus, you still have a lot of summers!! Just try to amuse yourself!
