Why does FACEBOOK sometimes want my phone # or credit card to post comments?
this has happened to me several times. always on one of my liked pages. but it doesn't happen ALL the time.
for example, i made a comment about my favorite show on their page the other day and i could post it, now i make a comment today on the exact same page and it's "unable to post" it and wants my mobile phone or credit card??? no, they are NOT APPS. these are my liked pages that i'm being told i need to enter a credit card or mobile phone number in order to post. again, NOT APPS. i know that apps cost money. i am not talking about APPS. if they are doing this now, i sincerely hope the whole company goes under Ads |

I'm pretty sure Facebook would never ask for your credit card information.
Install an anti-virus program (e.g. Avast) and check you've got nothing dodgy on your computer! |

Unlike all those pages soon as possible before they even hack up your account.

Wow - this does sound very dodgy. Be highly suspicious.
You have to be so careful - even scammy PayPal emails are looking more and more genuine these days. The giveaway is to hover over any links - even if they say: "paypal.com/etc" and look at the bottom of the browser for what it says. If it says: "makemyday.net/3hy9liKL.html" or something crummy like that, it is clearly a scam. Take care! |
