Is it rude not to respond back to someone's messages on Facebook?
I'm the kind of person who wants to stay in touch with friends by sending them a message and sadly not many people responds back to my message and it makes me feel like they don't appreciate the love and friendship that I have for them.

Providing you are not sending them messages every five seconds, then yeah it is rude not to respond.

depending on how many friends they have they could be responding all day long
also if they check their FB an hour or more after you sent it they might have to scroll down very far to see you message
and when you send a message it does not always go to the top of the list FB thinks they can decide if one post is more important than others and may put it lower on the list
