How to turn off Facebook Timeline?

How can I reverse this Facebook Timeline crap and go back to my original page/profile on Facebook?
A friend suggested this and IT WORKED! if you are using chrome you go into the wrench in the top right hand corner and go to extensions , and type in facebook timeline remover i believe

hop in a time machine, go back a few months and dont click the timeline button.

Sadly you can't, all facebooks account are now permanently on timeline.sorry

You cant remove Timeline but you can view all timeline pages in the old style, single column, profile page layout format via this simple guide:
