Should my friend be mad at us?
Okay, so me and my roommate were hanging out with our other friend, and she used my roommates computer to check her Facebook. After she left, we figured out she hadn't logged off her Facebook, so we decided to have a little fun. Now, all of us that hang out together have been hacked multiple times by our friends and we always laugh it off because it's a joke. Well, we changed her gender to male, changed her birthday to that day so people starting writing on her wall, and made a funny profile pic and cover photo. It was super hilarious, and it's happened to all of us, and she's been a part of doing it to other people before. Now she's like seriously pissed at us even though it was a joke. Does she have a stick stuck up her butt or are we in the wrong here??

If she can dish and and not take it, then there is a problem. But consider some of the reasons why she may be super mad. Maybe she has family on Facebook who will look down at her a bit if they see this kind of activity? Maybe you just caught her on an off day and this was the last straw. Apologize, but don't grovel, and hopefully your friendship will be repaired.

Best of luck xx

okay, she now knows that you guys cannot be trusted. She probably felt that you guys would never do it to each other, but you guys did and she feels right now that she has no friends. I have to admit it would be funny but step into her shoes. You have to understand her but if she is being really dumb about it then just say sorry. I mean I had way too many problems with friends. That is why I stick with only 2. Smile

Is it that serious, no. Should she be holding a grudge for more than like...a DAY. She shouldn't. But here's the thing, not everyone has the same sense of humor and when someone hacks into your FB page, goes into your closet and takes a shirt, goes in your room to snoop around (you get the picture) it gives some people a sense of being violated and disrespected in a way. I know you're all friends but who knows maybe there is other things that has her annoyed that you don't know about. Things that have been bugging her about you guys as a whole (or individually) that cause her to flip out. So, I have a feeling there might be something else behind this and this was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I'd talk to her and try to get the bottom of it. If it's JUST the FB thing maybe she just doesn't dig that kind of sense of humor. I'll be honest, I'd be a little ticked off myself. You guys should be ok, nothing talking and clearing things up can't fix. Good luck.

Maybe so. The REAL question should be "Which of us is more immature - the person who gets mad when her facebook account is hacked by friends or the person who hacks a facebook account and changes her friend's sexuality, birthday and profile pic?" Seriously, all of you need to grow up.
