Does he like me?(Sorry but its complicated for me to find out)?

Where do we start? Well... Theres this guy. He is 16. Im 14. Story cut short.
In year 7 (he was in year 9) it was a rainy day, I had my umbrella and I was walking home... I felt something on my shoulder and noticed some person standing next to me,(this personm was him) we had a conversation(Hi, how are you? whats your name?) Suddenly his friend starts beating him up.(Nicely) he shouts back at me "You're meant to help me, you're my friend!" being a shy little girl I was I carried on walking and ignored him. )Bearing in mind he has never met me before...This was when we met.) The next day me and my friends were in the hall eating lunch. I shout him and wave, he looks at me confused, smiles, then waves back. i then didnt see him for a few days. Then I was walking to next lesson, and him and his friend was walking up the stairs, as I was walking down. He then slapped me on the back, giggled, and ran away with a cheeky grin on his face. A week later he pokes me and says hi. For the rest of year 7 I hear nothing else from him. then year 8, this is when we had our jabs. Me and my friend was walking out the gates when he then tapped my arm where i had the jab.(fecking killed it did) I then turn round to find him deliberatley trying not to look at me staring into the sky laughing. nothing else happened after that, I only noticed him stare at me. He would rarely do playful things like tell his mates to run at me when I walk past, the bastards or kick a football at me, but nothing major. It was suddenly then we were strangers. but not quite. we would exchange glances in the corridor. something he didnt do to anyone else. Also. His friend on twitter said "Is this about Whitey again?" i found it perculiar. Seen as tho my last names White and dad got called Whitey alot.And also. He wont accept me on facebook. He will accept anyone. He has over 400 friends. i have sent him a request 3 times but no. And then. On Ask.Fm I tell him that I fell in love with him and told him who I was... His reply was "i havent a fooking clue who she is.." Which made me wonder.... I asked my mum what to do, she said forget about him. I cant. His brother is in my form next year... (We have mixed forms I will be in year 10 his brother in year 7) I dont know what to do? Should I ask him out? Should I talk to him more often? Should I get his number? Should i call for him one day? I need answers.
