Is Facebook really just for chatting?
My old facebook account got hacked so I made a new one, the new account isn't sending facebook requests so I don't have as many friends as I did on my old one unless they add me and if I'm offline for ages it deletes all my friends.
But the annoying thing is that every ad I got was for dating, I changed my facebook profile to in a relationship and all the ads where things like baby care and stuff like that and allot for dating Russian women, I then changed it that I'm into men&women and now EVERY add is something to do with dating or weight lifting. Just wondering if this was a coincidence or if anybody else has had stuff like that Ads |

PS. Maybe The Hacker Is Sending These Ads |

I don't know about anybody else, but I get ads like that but my facebook doesn't do the things you highlighted in the first paragraph.

I never had that problem, but I ingnore about half the ads I see. I rarely use chat on FB, I use it mostly for keeping in touch with people and the games.

No. many non-profit organizations us it as a cheap, simple substitute or supplement to a regular web site. Most churches, for instance, have a facebook group. My high school graduation class has one; many others do too. Many chapters of Back Country Horsemen of America have a group or a page. The details of your question have nothing to do with the heading, so I'll ignore them. You asked a general question, then started complaining about a specific case. |
