What do you think of Facebook statuses like this...?

People who vent their frustrations at friends via a facebook status that all can see.
We'll call the person who posted this status, JK
JK didn't name the 10 people he was sick of but did say,'You know who you are'. He complained that these friends were using him a middle man to solve disputes between others and hold secrets about others. He told these people to ' Go fuck themselves!'.
Do you think this was inappropriate? Should he have done this to the people he was talking about in person rather than just putting out an angry facebook status that all can see?

P.S. I am not one of people he was referring to. I am just wondering if I am the only person who thinks this is slightly inappropriate and unfair to those involved, despite their behaviour.

It's always annoying when people put attention-seeking/dramatic statuses. But I'd just leave "JK" to it - their problem if they lose friends over it. Maybe they'll grow up and sort their problems out face to face one day
