How do I respond to my friend?

Her mom for some reason always says "hi" to me and on facebook, my friend might say "my mom says 'Hi'".
And today she said, "my mom says hi. i guess you're her favorite"
Yes, she is friendly all the time and I have always said thank you before. But I feel weird saying a generic "thank you. tell your mom i said hi also" all the time. What should I say to this comment just to change things up?
