How do you upload pictures to Facebook on your iPhone 5?

I know that you can do so by clicking on the picture in your picture roll and go from there, but I'm having a hard time with that. Instead, I want to upload them through the Facebook app itself. When I try to a statement comes up saying that it has no access to my photos/videos. Check privacy settings. I've checked both the privacy setting of the app and my phone's settings.....help?

in the facebook app, when you first try to upload a picture. a popup should appear asking you if facebook can access your photos, once you accepted that your library of photo should all appear for selecting.

If that doesnt work, there is a app for iPhone called Facebook Camera (made by Facebook, Inc. )
