If I deactivate my facebook account (temporarily) will I lose anything?
will any posts/friends/photos etc be deleted? Also how many days can you have it deactivated before your profile gets permanently deleted? (cause I don't want that to happen!)

No, when you reactivate your account, everything will be exactly as you left them.

nope, i deactivated my account a week ago and i logged in as you do normally last night and everything is the same... you get all of your friends status updates and photos as per usual .. you just wont have any updates as your invisible while you are deactivated Also im pretty sure you can have it deactivated for years and it will still be there as everything is permanently stored online .. but yeah everything will be the same not to worry

Delete and Deactivate are two different things. Delete will be permanent after two weeks of not logging in. Deactivate will never be permanent you can comeback as long as you have access to the email you used.
