How can I remove Facebook apps from my profile!?

My Facebook on the left side shows Farmville, Status Shuffle, Between Me & You. I don't want that $*&# on my Facebook & I don't even know how it got there. How can I remove them!?

It really easy

1) Where the application is on the side of your profile, there is a pencil on the top of the box in the right hand corner.
2) Click on it and in the drop down menu click 'remove box', click it.

Andd your all done, hope this helps Ohh and facebook sent me a message telling me that there going to be removing the boxes from people's profile because apparently there no longer going to support it x
