Is there any way around the Facebook Timeline change?
Is there a way to keep the traditional layout and not go through with the timeline change? I can't stand the way it's set up and I don't know why everyone' s profile need to change. grr.

Unfortunately not. There's no way to keep it the old way. It's frustrating, but I'm sure you'll get used to it, in time. Maybe if enough people complain they'll switch it back?

Everyone's profile needs to change because they can't keep maintenance going for x number of layouts. One would be a lot easier and a lot cheaper. There's nothing in any agreement that says they have to keep the old layout and they updated it to a simpler easier look. I hated whenever facebook changed and I was cautious on this one, but I switched before it switched me and it is fantastic! Only took an hour to fully understand it and be used to it. There's no way around it so you might as well get used to it. The tutorials they have really help if you're actually willing to go through it.

you can easily view all timeline pages in the old style profile page format, in your browser, if you follow this simple guide:

There's no way to undo the Timeline upgrade. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.
