I hate the new Facebook timeline do i need to make my profile a timeline.

No that's an option but once you've got it you can't go back.

You don't. BUT, Facebook WILL update!! And in this update, everyone will get timeline.
I got the timeline early to get used to it. I have to say, I don't think it was necessary to introduce it in the first place, but I do quite like it now, after having it since before Christmas. At the start I HATED It lol, but now I think it's actually quite nice
So yeah, you don't need to get it now, but Facebook will soon update and you'll get it, so if I were you I'd get it now to get used to it
