Is there a way to turn off your timeline on Facebook?
I know before the timeline came around you could literally just shut off your wall from everyone without having to deactivate your Facebook. Can you still do that with the timeline? And I don't wanna mess that Manage Past Posts button, there has to be another way hopefully...

Nope. From what I could remember, before the change, they have stated that Facebook will be permanently switching to timeline.

No you officially cannot turn it off but there are workarounds of course. If you are using Firefox go here: http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-5743...ox-add-on/

And if you use chrome check out these instructions: http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-5739...extension/

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update - they are now forcibly converting everyone slowly without your consent

this guide will help you learn how to use it

There is no way that u can turn it back with the previous version of Facebook. It is permanent until new features would arrive.

Once timeline is enabled on your account, you cannot get rid of it. You can however view all timeline pages in a single column format similar to the old style profile page in your own browser if you follow this simple guide:
