Is it a good idea to put my writing on facebook?

I want to place an ad on facebook to advertise my poetry/lyrics. Is it a good idea since people can steal my work? But at the same time, I want to exhibit my work and I don't have the information or time to do anything else with it.
I love writing and would love to get my stuff published.
So do you think it's a good idea?

Trust me, no one is going to steal your work. I haven't read it, but I guarantee you that your work isn't good enough to steal.

On copyright, you don't need to worry. Your work is automatically copyrighted.
