How do i access my facebook timeline?

i am new to facebook, and i want to add a cover to my timeline to personalise my timeline. the problem is how do i access my timeline. i tried goodgling it but no luck, and i am a facebook newbie. Please help, thanks

There should be a button in green that says 'Get Timeline'.

Edit: Lol. My bad. I read your description wrong and I thought you wanted to know HOW to get timeline. Anyways, in the blue top bar of your Facebook profile, where it says your name, Home, and Find Friends, click on your name. That should bring you to your timeline.
Click Add a Cover button which is surrounded by a grayish background and there you go. You can always either Upload a picture from your computer or pick one from photos on Facebook if you've added any. Make sure to publish your Timeline by clicking the Publish Now button at the top of the page, so that your friends can see it too. Now, I hope I helped!

Go to your profile by clicking your name in the upper right hand corner (in the blue bar next to the home tab). On the top of your profile in the right hand corner (over "Activity log") Click "Add a Cover" and you can either upload one from your computer or from your facebook pics (but im assuming since your new you don't have fb pictures yet) but if you do go to the album its in and click on it and it will be set to your cover then click "Save Changes"

Hover your mouse right next to your profile picture and you will see a button to Add Cover. When you click that, you have the options to upload from your computer or use a photo already in your facebook account.
