Why did one of my Facebook friends' icons "disappear" from my profile without officially defriending it?
It might be either a Facebook glitch, or someone illegally hacking into my Facebook profile and took away that icon, or someone phished my FB account and defriended that icon without any official FB defriending process.

Anyone who is a technical expert on Facebook, help me! I don't have the expertise to make that icon re-appear.

Did it lessen the number of friends you have? If so their profile might either have been deleted or they're undergoing maintenance.
