how do I stop one facebook friend from seeing some of my other friends?
I'd like to connect to my ex-girlfriend on facebook.

However among my friends are the names of various other women whom I'd rather she didn't see.

Is there a way I can connect with her, but have her not see all the people in my friend list?
Ok Noha H, I see what you mean - I can prevent her seeing my friend list full stop. But I want her to see most of my friends, but not all.

And how do I add her to the exceptions if she's not already listed as one of my friends? I guess I create a limited profile first called "ex-girlfriends"; then can I invite her as part of that limited profile?

You could have it set so she cant see any of your friends, but not specific friends.

You have to go to privacy settings> Profile> friends > customise

Hey.
On the right hand side beside the little search bar, it says Settings. Put your mouse there. Then click Privacy Settings. When, your there click Profile. It says Friends. Beside it click it and something will come down. Click customize. Then, type your ex-girlfriends name under Except These People.
