I read earlier that a lot of people will go through and clean up their friend list by deleting friends they hadn't talked to in a while. I have a lot of friends that were classmates from high school that I didn't really know well, and some I haven't seen since the day I graduated.

i am close with most of my friends, but some i am not.some of them are classmates, cousins, family, or just people i know from back in the day that i still keep in touch with. but im still in high school and i add people that ive been in classes with, which everyone else pretty much does. my freind did that recently, she had like 300 friends, but deleted all the people she doesnt really talk to and she has like 70 now lol.

i only have like 170 but thats because i dont add random people and people i dont know.

I dont have facebook, thinking of getting it just to catch up with old school friends.

The article below is interesting.

Basically says that even people with 500 'friends' dont actually know them all and it is impossible to evenhave a anywhere near proper relationship with that many people.

The average of people you ACTUALLY know and communicate with on a regular basis and are friends in the true sense of teh word is about 5-10 people...

Anyone who comes on and tells you ... I have 300 friends and know them all really well is lying, they may have met them but it doesn't neccasarily mean anything, we all meet people every day but they are not all therefore our friends.
