is there a way to hide a friends list on facebook news feed?

I have a lot of facebook friends that post a lot of Farmville stuff all day long. I made a friends list for these people but i'd like to be able to hide them from my news feed. but i don't want to hide them all together because i still want to be able to see what these friends are up to. so is there any way to move a friends list off the news feed? thanks.

If you move your mouse over to the right of there name, a HIDE message will appear...click on that.

If you hover over one of the farmville posts an option will come up to hide the application

Hover over the upper right corner of the application story and a "Hide" button will appear. Click on the "Hide" button to prevent all stories from that particular application from appearing on your home page. If the story is from an application that was created using a separate parent application, all stories from the parent application will also be prevented from appearing on your home page.
