Are these facebook apps real?

I have noticed several facebook applications and groups that claim that they can show you statistics on who has viewed your profile. Great! But there's a catch... a certain number of your friends have to accept your invitation to join the group or add the app before it will work, and until then, the wall is hidden from you (I think... maybe you can see it once you join?) Anyway, my question is: Are these real? I'm quite suspicious of them, and I'm pretty sure there's something in the privacy policy that states that facebook will never publish information about whose profile you view. However, I don't know if that extends to apps or not. Of course, I would love to know who looks at my profile, but the flip side of that is that then people would know when I view their profile, which I don't like the thought of. So does anyone here know if these groups are for real? Or are they hoaxes?

Nope these aren't true.. i think those are advertising applications.. u send invitations to your frenz and then it'll be like viral marketing.. at the end they'll ask you to fill up something and so on.. these aren't true as far as i know.. they are just made to advertise about something.. facebook does keep the profile view information confidential..
