How do I send direct messages on Twitter?
I go to direct messages, and in the box where it says where you want to send it, it comes up blank. Also, if I reply to a tweet, will the person see it, as well as everyone following that person? Like will it show up on their profile?

In the box to who you want to send it to has an arrow. Click on that and find the person's name.
Or you can just go on the person's profile and click message on the right side.
btw, you cant send a message to someone who isnt following you.

& if you reply to someone's tweet, whoever is following you and that person can see it.
But they are more likely to see it if they are following you. But it will show up in their @replies. Unless your profile is locked.

Hope that helped! :]

Hi,

You can also send direct messages from:

* the reply icon attached to messages in your direct message inbox
* the drop down box on the direct message inbox page (please note: this is a random selection of people who are following you, not the complete list. If a follower's name is not on this list, use options 1, 2, or 4)
* the status update box using the direct message command: d + username + message

If your reply to a tweet, the person could see this if he/she already follows you, and in such case, all his/her followers clould see(but if you follow too many people, you might miss a lot of updates if they came out at the same time), or the person must click the @username on the sidebar to see your reply.
