What is going on with Facebook?

i had a facebook account for about 1 month ..a year ago .. i was quick to figure out what a total waste of space it is .. it should be called "SHOWOFF BOOK"
millions of people saying .. i did this i'm doing that, see my pictures i'm so cool ,be my friend your so special along with the other 900 friends i don't really know from a bar of soap .
its pathetic- the whole site runs on peoples unstable self esteem deficit while it mindbashes them with sales pitchers .

It really depends on your reasons for signing up for FB in the first place. If you still use it for the reasons why you set up your page then its not a waste. If you still enjoy using it for these reasons its still a really good and useful site to use. Its especially useful for keeping in touch with people you don't normally see or chat to on a regular basis.

I think facebook is really good...Just because it has lots of apps and games doesn't mean its stupid! In fact, i think facebook is getting better every time...and i have been using fb for almost 4 yrs and dont find those ads disturbing or annoying
