Can't see old status updates on Facebook Timeline?

For some reason, Facebook Timeline won't let me see anything older than August 2011.

Anything I can do to fix this? There's an old status update I'm looking for.

In the search option you may search few sentence of any post yot want.you will find.

you might need to change your setting to allow older posts to appear, You should be able to see your own posts if you click on the ,month and let everything load
