How can i prevent myself to being added in facebook groups?

Is there any way to to prevent myself from Groups in Facebook? I'm tired of those groups.

I know that i can remove myself from those group by leaving them but i want to prevent myself permanently from being added in those groups. Almost 5 to 6 groups add me daily.

u click on the group, the option ungroup will be displayed. just ungroup that

Whenever you are added to a group just go to that group and there you will get to see the option "Leave group" just click on it and the group will be removed from your profile and you will no longer be in that group.

Step 1 : Go to Group’s page which disturbing you most. That group’s link can be found in your facebook’s notification box.

Step 2 : On the group’s page find out the button “Edit Settings“. Then do what I did and click save.

Step 3: click on the notify we where ->to only post i am subscribe to.
uncheck the email notification
show the group in home navigation->sometimes
uncheck ->send me the group chat message
and click on to save changes
Now you are done. In further you will no more get spammy notifications from this facebook group.


If this is not working then try this
Go to Group’s page.then
Go to settings and click leave group .

"Can I prevent people from adding me to a new group?
The functionality of approving a group membership is not available. Similar to being tagged in a photo, you can only be added to a group by one of your friends. When a friend adds you to a group, a story in the group (and in News Feed for Open or Closed groups) will indicate that your friend has added you to a group.

Please keep in mind:

*Only your friends can add you to groups.
*When a friend adds you to a group, you'll get a notification right away.
*You can leave a group anytime. To do so, just go to the group page and click "Leave Group" in the right-hand column. Once you leave a group, you can't be added by anyone else unless you explicitly request to be re-added."
