I uploaded a new Facebook profile picture but it won't work?
So I uploaded a new profile picture on Facebook. It showed the new picture after I uploaded it. But then I went back to my profile picture and showed my old one. So i went back, deleted the picture, re uploaded it. Same thing happened. Now it's just showing the default Fb picture. I asked my friend if he could see my new picture and he said he could. What do you think is happening and what should I do?

1.Yes. Your profile picture must be at least 180 pixels wide. If you are unsure of whether or not your picture meets this requirement, you can right-click on the picture to see the photo properties, which should include the photo dimensions (ex: 100 x 91 would be too small).

If you can’t find the photo’s dimensions, try uploading the picture and assigning it as your profile picture. You will see the following error message if the image is too small

2.I can't upload my photos.

We're sorry you're having trouble uploading photos! Please try these troubleshooting tips: Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Flash.

â– Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Flash. This fixes the problem most of the time. First you'll need to uninstall any outdated versions of Adobe Flash that you might have on your computer. Then, get the latest version of Adobe Flash. Make sure to quit all web browsers during the installation process.

â– Try using unedited versions of photos. Editing photos using other software beforehand can cause them to upload incorrectly or fail to upload entirely.

â– Check the photo format. We only support certain types of image formats, so we recommend using .jpg, .bmp, .png, .gif, and .tiff files.

â– Check the size of the photo. We recommend the photo does not exceed 15MB.

â– Check your browser. Make sure you're using the latest version of your browser and the most up-to-date version of Adobe Flash.

If you're still unable to upload photos after reviewing the information above, please report this issue.
