Facebook privacy question about a deleted account?

I deleted my facebook account back in November, but I didn't delete all the pictures or anything. I just deactivated the account.
I know it's a bit late to be thinking of this, but I just read some article that said you have to delete every single picture/post in order for your account to be gone.
So does this mean that if someone searches me on google, they'll still find my pictures?:/
I deleted my facebook because it's such a violation of privacy.....
