Why won't it let me get the facebook timeline?

I try to get facebook timeline by going to one of my friends profiles. When I get there I see the timeline and go to "Learn More". So when I'm there i understand there is supose to be a "Get it now" button next to the "Apps" button, the problem is...it's not there! How can i fix this or possibly get the facebook timeline in a different way?

I had to go to someones profile who had the timeline and it suggests that you get the timeline too, then you click on it.

adding some apps will convert it to timeline

so will syncing it with your pinterest.com account
