Does Twitter Have A Limit On How Many People You Can Follow? I Tried to Follow More and It Wouldnt Let Me.?

I'm still learning Twitter. I have a lot of followers and I was trying to follow more people but it wouldn't let me. I was following 2,001 people. I tried to follow more people and I kept getting that annoying message saying My account won't allow me to do that.

Is there a limit on how many people you can follow on Twitter?

I follow a lot of Team Minaj members and I wanted to follow more Team Minaj members and I keep getting the message at the top saying "My account won't allow this."

So I can only follow 2,001 people? What's going on?

I think you can only follow like 700 people a day or something like that.....
