Mom going to put me in a group home?
My bother (17) and sister (19) went on my facebook, messaged all my friends nasty messages, wrote horrible status's on my facebook calling me terrible names... I broke down because they wouldn't stop and i took 6-7 extra strength Tylenol's and went to the hospital. I'm in counselling now and because of what they did my mom kicked my sister out, and since she cant kick my brother out he is still here. At all the counselling visits I complain that he isn't punished and that I'm the one being punished for it. I over heard my mom talking to my dad about putting me in a group home for a year, so when i get back ill be in a calm household and stuff...
can she really do that?
what should i do?
do you think i should?

I am very sorry this has occurred to you, Amy. I don't know much about any of this stuff, but I can tell you a few other things. First of all, I want to say that by your mother's actions she knows what the right thing to do is. Your brother is only still there because she can't legally throw him out, but she did get rid of your sister. My parents allowed my older sister not only to violently beat me on a daily basis and turn a blind eye, but degrade me in front of everyone. Secondly, please NEVER do what you did with the medication. Your mother obviously* loves you and has your best interests in mind. What I would do, if I were you, is instead of being upset with all of this calmly tell your mother you overheard this. Tell her you understand she wants the best for you, and if there are any other options besides a group home such as staying with a friend or other family member she trusts. By the way, the reason she is considering this option is because she is waiting for your brother to turn legal so she can kick him out too, hence the "returning to a calm home" comment. Your mother loves you.
