Why aren't my web browsers working properly?
I can load Facebook, YouTube, Google, and some other basic pages alright on chrome, if a bit slowly. My Internet Explorer will load Google and Bing, but not Facebook. All my other off base things like IMVU.com and photobucket.com will not load at all. I can use off browser apps like Skype, but I can't use the IMVU client.. I've searched all over, tried uninstalling and re-installing several programs, restarting my computer, restarting my modem... help :c

This is what it says when I try to go to these pages:

This webpage is not available
Google Chrome could not load the webpage because photobucket.com took too long to respond. The website may be down, or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
Check your Internet connection. Restart any router, modem, or other network devices you may be using.
Add Google Chrome as a permitted program in your firewall's or antivirus software's settings. If it is already a permitted program, try deleting it from the list of permitted programs and adding it again.
If you use a proxy server, check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server, adjust your proxy settings: Go to the wrench menu > Settings > Show advanced settings... > Change proxy settings... > LAN Settings and deselect the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox.
Error 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out.

(I have done all of the things they suggested)

Now see all computer programs stores some data on you computer,
and browser has to store a huge user data on machine,
so down the road you machine gets full of those app datas and which result in clogging the Browser!!
and this datas don't delete while in reinstall the software,

I suggest
Please reset all the browser you are using now
If you are using Windows 7 or Windows Vista :
For Chrome
Press Windows Key + R to bring up command prompt.

Enter " %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data " without quotes and press enter..
You will find a "Default" folder .. Delete this folder and load chrome.
It will be reset to default settings.

For IE
Open Internet Explorer
Goto Internet Options of IE > Advance tab > Hit reset!!

For Mozilla
help->troubleshooting->reset firefox.

If still problem exist
grab a fresh and updated copy of browser and install them Smile

Hope it helps , it usually works out for me Smile
