How do I contact Facebook for help? Do they have a phone number, instant chat, etc.?

A few days ago I started getting ALL activity updates from my friends on facebook whereas before I just got their status updates...which is what I liked and wanted. I'm now being overwhelmed since I'm getting notification of all activity. I want to just look at friends status updates when I'm on facebook. I think I must have accidentally changed something per my account that caused this to happen? I cannot fix this---I tried---I can't figure it out. How do I contact facebook for help in this regard? Thank you!

You accidently put them as your close friends which means that your friends status updates go to your notifications , what you could do is go to your friends profile and where it has a check mark and it says friends click on that and the word CLOSE FRIENDS comes out and just click on that and it removes it as your close friends which means you wont get notifications about their status update but their statuses will still come out on your news feed
