How much do facebook ads cost?

I know the minimum bid for CPC is 1cent but realistically how much do most people end up paying per click or per 1000 exposures? Would love to hear from peopkle who actually have had ad campaigns--How much did you pay?

It all depends on the geographical location as well as the target audience. Best way to figure this out is to try couple of ad campaigns. It has a feature to give a daily limit. So, you will not end up exceeding your budget. Define how much you want to pay per day. Example $1 or $5. Then select the target audience. You can define the age group or countries.

This will give you a clear ideas about about how much you should spend to get the maximum results and beat the competition.
