What does it mean when it says standard message and data charges may apply?
On Twitter for mobile, I get tweets sent as SMS messages to my phone. It says that it is completely free, but when it says that ^ does it mean that the messages cost 99 cents or is it totally free like CHACHA? Thanks!

It means that it only costs money if your service plan charges you for texting. It costs the same as sending and receiving to and from your friends.

It means that the text will cost you whatever a normal text costs you from your wireless provider. for example if you have verizon then you get a text from twitter, if verizon charges you .99 cents a text, that standard charge will apply, and it will cost .99 cents. if you have unlimited texting, its free.

It has the conditions of a regular text: If you have a limited number of texts or are charged for each one, this one counts. If you have unlimited texts and are not charged for each one, subscribe without a problem- watch out in the future most companies try to make you pay $10.00/ month when you sign up for things like these.
