Facebook tag not on timeline?

Facebook tag not on timeline?
My friend tagged me in a status update of hers but it is not appearing on my timeline. When i go to the post its says it has been added to my timeline but it's still not there. I clicked approve for it to be put on and it didn't work. I even updated my settings to no approval required yet its still not there. I've been googling for an hour, help!!!

That's been happening for a while now. My mother noticed it when she posted something on a like page about me and it wasn't until I logged into my facebook and checked it to see that it was there. if it told you you're tagged, you're tagged.
