Has anybody else been having trouble with Facebook status privacy settings?

When I try to set the privacy to custom and set the list of people to block, it's not reacting right:
-Sometimes it goes back to friends of friends after I hit save changes
- Sometimes it only saves a partial list of the people (and it won't let me add more, but I don't get any sort of error message?)

If so, do you know how to fix these issues?
