Downloading apps onto samsung galaxy s2?

Ok so I got a new phone. I'm with vodafone but whenever i've been trying to install facebook or another app on my phone it keeps saying that my connection has timed out. I tried downloading from my pc but it keeps saying that I haven't used the play store on my phone so it won't let me. Anyone wanna give a hand??

I personally own a s2 and have never encountered that problem. Try using the market app. If youre already using that, I suggest either performing a back-up and factory reset or consulting vodafone.

well assuming you have opened a google account on your phone, you should be able to just click on the playstore icon and download. sign in to the playstore on your pc. if all fails give vodaphone a call.
