Who hacked or phished my facebook and spammed a lot of my friends with this same message?

Some of my friends know I didn't send this, that it was automatic message, but a couple of them didn't realize I was hacked, and they commented with WTF, but were understanding when I explained to them I had to change my password because my account got hacked or phished and it happened to other co workers of mine and other friends. Even a couple of my buddy's have gotten spammed like this by other people with the same message, now I got it on my end. Will changing my password stop this? I was able to delete the posts on random friends' walls. It's weird, it seems like they are targeting friends I have chatted to once or who are actually my friends outside of facebook. I have a bunch of people I graduated with whom I don't even talk to and I checked their wall and they didn't get my spam. If I deleted the posts on my friends walls who got the spam, will that put a virus on my computer, it's just like deleting a regular photo? What exactly is this... hacking or phishing and since I changed my password will that stop this from happening again? It's just annoying. What was funny was, A buddy of mine was like why did you post this video of me, thinking it was a video of him being stupidly drunk the other night at a bon fire at his house, but he didn't actually check the video yet, he just assumed, and I had to explain to him that I got hacked, than he knew. But, most people know it's just spamming.
