There are apps that are chat room for area. They make auto rooms for locals in a given radius. There's always yahoo chat rooms. Man might still have chat rooms. google might. Most apps suck, I don't know if it's out of laziness by the one who makes them, or by nature. So you really can't go by what's said or the ratings.
