How 2 set facebook profile on limited due to family member..?

So a certain older family members want to add me as friend on facebook. How do I add them yet limit what they can see on profile w/o effecting what my friends see?

When you click add, it will have a box ask you which list to add them to. You just select add to limited profile.

First you'll need to go into "friends" and click "make new list" which is in the upper left corner of the page. Once you've created this friends list, you can go into your privacy settings and arrange what you will and will not allow this particular group to see.

From here, you can add this person to the list, and your limits will be set.
