Facebook its PRIVACY POLICY.
1. Is your information really secure? Why?
2. How does the policy support privacy? Are there any parts mentioned that oppose to what they mention about privacy?

Please answer these questions any of them

1) My information is very secure because you can MAKE it secure yourself if you choose to.

2) I'm not sure, this is because I haven't read the whole privacy document, I skimmed it. You can though- if you get Face Book.

3) 1. You can make it as secure as no one can even touch your profile, pictures, or any of that jazz.
2. You basically control who can see your own profile and what not.
3. If you do get Face Book, and you do encounter someone you are unfamiliar with, you can block them so they can't see anything.

4) When the creator of Face Book made it, it wasn't intended for the world to use. It was just so that a few college friends of his could connect . Little did he know many people started using it. However, it was never intended for so many people to use. So after he got over 1 million people using Face Book, he hired a staff to change the settings. However again, considering the 1 million + had already got Face Book, they couldn't change YOUR own settings. Therefore, you must change the settings yourself . Unlike My Space whereas it was designed for friends and family to connect, so it is slightly safer than Face Book if you don't change the settings on Face Book.

I can see you're a bit paranoid.
Don't worry, as long as you know how to handle the privacy settings.

Hope I've helped ! Smile
